The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application procedure.
Applications are now open and will close on 15 December 2024.

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should fulfill the following criteria:
• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who comes from a home that has a combined gross family earnings that does not exceed R350 000 for each annum.
• Individuals with disabilities qualify if their combined domestic profits does not exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients immediately qualify for funding and want not submit any proof of earnings.
